Hallo! My name is OkeChukwu Iroegbu. The Oke(heu-ke) in my name means share and the Chukwu(Shu:ku) means God in Igbo language. I am from Isuikwuato in the East of Nigeria. Isuikwuato is blessed with breath taking hills, virgin forests, swift-flowing streams and rivers, exotic wildlife and flora, and beautiful people with welcoming traditions.
I am a finance scholar, having schooled both in a polytechnic and a university and interned in a bank sometime ago. I like to share whatever I know. I love Nature (which includes wildlife and good food), traveling (to the quiet countryside mostly), Gods word, mathematics and mind games, my family, friends and my beautiful hometown.
I hope to travel across the continent of Africa to collect and write down folklores/tales from natives. I am convinced that there are stories untold and some may be lost. Political instability, famine and other factors may have caused this trend. It is my dream to revive the culture of storytelling and I might not be able to achieve this by myself. If you key into this dream, and able to sponsor it you can contact me through the following social media outlets:
